Are we required to wear life jackets?
No, but our boats are fully equipped with life jackets for each passenger in case of emergencies.
Safety is paramount on our boats.  We have experienced and qualified crew on each cruise.  The crew consists of a Captain, engineer and a number of deckhands to assist you and make your cruise safe and enjoyable.
Will we see sharks at Duiker Island where the seal are?
Whilst there are sharks everywhere in the ocean, we seldom see them at Duiker Island. You are guaranteed to see the large population of seals and sea birds and on occasion dolphins, whales and other sea life.
Sharks that are frequently seen are those at Seal Island in False Bay near Simon’s Town where they encourage shark activity by chumming the water.
